10 Beneficial Spider Species in the USA

Published March 14, 2018 in Uncategorized - 0 Comments

Once we discuss microorganisms and bugs within the backyard, it’s fairly simple to miss one kind of animal that’s not really an insect. Belonging to the organic classification of arachnids, spiders are predatory creatures which have an necessary function in controlling populations of pest bugs on the permaculture plot. Using both webs to seize prey, or just hanging on the bottom or in crops, spiders all have some type of venom with which to kill their prey. All spiders will, as soon as they’ve made a kill, use enzymes to interrupt down and liquefy the prey to be able to eat it. Most spiders will take virtually another insect that occurs to come back throughout their path so they’ll inevitably predate another useful species, however their function in holding pest populations down shouldn’t be underestimated, and permaculture gardeners ought to view spider sightings on their plot as a superb signal certainly.

Each nation, bar Antarctica, has its personal indigenous arachnids, in addition to different species which have been launched from elsewhere. Listed here are a number of the extra frequent ones that permaculturists within the USA might come throughout.

Whitebanded Crab Spider
Crab spiders are ambush predators, with the whitebanded among the many most typical varieties. They have an inclination to sit down within the centre of flowers, ready for bugs to come back to the bloom to feed on the nectar. Then they strike, seizing the sufferer of their entrance two pairs of legs and injecting them with venom. The females of the species are capable of change their physique coloring between white and yellow to camouflage themselves in opposition to the flower. Grownup males are a lot smaller than the females.

Grass Spiders
There are 13 species of grass spider within the U.S., and all of them look related and exhibit the identical behaviors. Grass spiders are members of the funnel weaving household, creating sheets of silk webbing that stretch between the branches of vegetation and result in a small retreat on the base. The grass spider’s net just isn’t sticky; the spider is alerted to the vibrations of an insect on the net and rushes out to catch it. Grass spiders have brown and gray markings and will be recognized by their three rows of eyes – two on the highest, 4 within the center and two on the underside –

Carolina Wolf Spider
Wolf spiders are among the many most ample spider species in U.S. gardens and fields. The Carolina is the biggest, with grownup females rising as much as 35 millimeters in physique size. They’ve brown and white markings on the highest half of their physique, whereas the underside is stable black. They don’t make net; as an alternative in the course of the day they lurk of their burrows ready for unsuspecting bugs to wander previous, whereas at night time they exit to actively hunt.

Orchard Orb Weaver
Orchard Orb Weavers have hanging coloration, with white, inexperienced, and gold markings on their elongated stomach. Like different orb weavers it spins a round net that’s positioned horizontally, with the spider hanging beneath it. They construct their webs on small timber and low-lying shrubs, and feed predominantly on flying bugs.

Hacklemesh Weaver
The Hacklemesh Weaver is definitely indigenous to Europe, however by world buying and selling it has established itself in different components of the world, together with China and the U.S. A relative of funnel net species such because the grass spiders, the Hacklemesh differs in that it prefers to spin its net on logs, in crevices and in deep leaf litter, relatively than up on vegetation. It has a reddish-brown color and eight eyes organized in a type of ‘smiley’ sample on the entrance of the pinnacle.

Black Widow
Arguably the spider with essentially the most daunting title, the Black Widow really will get its moniker from the behavior of the feminine to eat the male instantly after mating. The males are small and brown, however the females are identifiable from the crimson spot on their bellies. This species hides in crevices by day, after which comes out at night time to hold the other way up in its net and catch flying bugs like moths.

Ant Mimic Spider
The clue is within the title of this spider species. The Ant Mimic not solely has a physique form that appears like an ant’s, it comports itself in an ant-like method as nicely, holding its first pair of legs aloft because it strikes in order that they resemble antennae. This habits just isn’t, as first could be suspected, in order that the spider can prey on ants; relatively it’s to protected itself from predation, as many ants should not preyed upon as a result of their pungent style. As a substitute the Ant Mimic Spider eats small bugs like aphids.

Tan Leaping Spider
Leaping spiders can leap as much as forty occasions their very own physique size. They’re additionally distinctive for his or her jerky motion when shifting throughout the bottom. The Tan species has gray and black mottling on its legs and physique, with a scallop-like design on the stomach. It hunts bugs and different small bugs by patrolling vertical surfaces equivalent to partitions and fences, earlier than pouncing on their victims.

Woodlouse Hunter
Native to Europe, this spider is now present in most temperate international locations throughout the globe. It has an orangey-red coloration, with the physique darker than the legs. It makes use of its lengthy legs to seize prey and switch it over, revealing the gentle underside into which the spider can sink its fangs. It doesn’t make an online; relatively it runs down its woodlouse prey.

Six-Noticed Fishing Spider
If in case you have a pond in your permaculture plot, you may see this species sprawled out immobile on the water, with its distinctive white beneficial spider speciesstripes down either side of its physique, ready for aquatic bugs to inadvertently come inside attain. Additionally they eat tadpoles and, once in a while, small fish. If disturbed, the spider will run throughout the water to succeed in shelter within the financial institution. The spider can also be identified to dive virtually 20 centimeters underneath the floor to catch prey.

In case you are seeking to improve the variety of spiders in your website, there are a selection of issues you are able to do that can create an surroundings the animals need to colonize. Mulching, significantly with straw, leaf litter and prunings offers the spiders with safety from predators (equivalent to birds) and from sturdy climate situations, in addition to humidity. A very good vary of shrubs and crops that can present websites for net constructing and nest making are enticing to spiders, when you may additionally make the most of plant species that entice bugs the spiders will prey on.

5 Types of Composting Method

Published March 9, 2018 in Uncategorized - 0 Comments

Compost is without doubt one of the most power environment friendly and inexperienced methods of bettering the standard of the soil on a permaculture plot. It avoids wastage by remodeling refuse from the backyard and the kitchen into nutrient-rich humus that when added to soil will present the vegetation rising in it a plentiful provide of the vitamins they should develop, thrive and set plentiful crops.

There are two elementary types of composting method: cold and warm. The previous is faster at turning natural materials into usable compost, however does require extra effort and time from the permaculture gardener to realize the impact. Scorching composting includes maintaining the temperature on the heart of the compost pile elevated, ideally to someplace between 110 and 140 levels Fahrenheit. The pile must be saved moist – so that it’s the consistency of a moist sponge – and the gardener wants to show it as soon as every week or so. This strikes colder materials from the surface of the pile to the within the place it’s heated and so breaks down into wealthy humus extra rapidly. Scorching composting has the benefit that it’s going to produce useable compost rapidly, and the excessive temperatures imply that it might break down weed seeds. The permaculture gardener ought to keep away from including such seeds to chilly composting strategies, because the extra passive type of transformation doesn’t attain the temperatures required to interrupt them down. Chilly composting primarily means making a compost pile and leaving nature to do its job. It requires much less enter from the gardener, however does imply that useable compost can take as much as a 12 months to be prepared.

The elements for each cold and warm composting are the identical, with roughly equal components brown and inexperienced materials. The brown materials consists of things akin to department prunings, leaves and twigs, whereas the inexperienced portion contains issues like fruit and vegetable scraps and grass clippings. To this may be added livestock manure (though don’t use cat or canine waste, as these can include pathogens which might be dangerous to people), and soil (which is able to include micro organism and microorganisms that may begin to break down the fabric), together with such miscellaneous gadgets as espresso grounds, shredded newspaper and eggshells. Nonetheless, whereas the elements are related, throughout the two classes of cold and warm composting there are a number of completely different strategies you should utilize to create compost in your permaculture plot.

Referred to in industrial agriculture as ‘in-vessel composting’ composting in a bin primarily refers to any technique that makes use of a closed container. It’s a simple method and is adaptable to many several types of permaculture plot, being appropriate for gardens, courtyards and even balconies. The contained nature of the bin means that you may compost all 12 months spherical, however whereas turning isn’t required, the dearth of aeration does imply that the composting course of can take upwards of six months, relying on elements akin to materials used and native weather conditions. You should buy a basic all-purpose bin or recycle any massive enclosed container, akin to a barrel.

Turning Bin
To quicken the method of bin composting, you possibly can fabricate or buy a container that may be turned. A crank and pivot signifies that the entire container may be rotated, shifting the contents in order that they’re aerated, and thus quickening the decomposition course of. Nonetheless, they’re unlikely to achieve the excessive temperatures required for warm composting, so it is a chilly method, though, relying on the supplies, a turning bin can produce useable compost inside two months.

A pile is solely that: a mound of compost that’s open to the air. Some gardeners use recycled bricks or lumber to construct a containing wall round three sides of the pile, whereas different will assemble a cage from rooster wire to cease the compost pile spreading an excessive amount of. Ideally a pile can be wider than it’s excessive, as this helps it retain warmth higher, however a pile can be utilized in no matter house is offered; it should simply take a bit longer for the compost to be prepared. (If doable have two piles in order that when one has reached a manageable dimension it may be left to its personal units whereas new materials may be added to the second pile.) The size of time for decomposition may even rely upon whether or not you select to show a pile or not. It’s non-obligatory, and subsequently pile composting can be utilized for both sizzling or chilly composting.

Sheet composting is similar to mulching, in layer of natural materials is unfold over the backyard mattress and types of compostingallowed to decompose in situ. Whereas mulching tends to make use of a layer of a single materials, akin to straw or wooden chips, sheet composting includes utilizing several types of materials, akin to leaves, particles from the backyard, kitchen scraps and grass clippings. In typical gardens, the compost is often dug or tilled into the topsoil, however as a permaculture gardener needs to reduce digging the soil, chances are you’ll need to unfold the compost on the bottom then add a layer of mulch akin to straw excessive. It will improve the speed of decomposition and stop the compost from being eroded away by rain and wind.

A step on from sheet composting is the pit or trench technique. That is primarily used for composting fruit and vegetable scraps from the kitchen. It includes digging shallow holes or trenches into which the scraps are positioned after which recovered with the soil. The anaerobic organisms throughout the soil then break down the fabric over six to 12 months. IA chilly composting method, it has the advantage of maintaining the compost out of sight and is a helpful technique for if you find yourself establishing new backyard beds, because it offers the vegetation a constant provide of vitamins within the root space. Nonetheless, it does require the labor of digging the holes and isn’t appropriate for brown materials akin to twigs as these would take too lengthy to interrupt down to offer the vegetation any profit.

12 Beneficial Insects for Your Permaculture Plot

Published March 7, 2018 in Uncategorized - 0 Comments

Bugs are essentially the most quite a few kind of animal on the planet. With tens of hundreds of various species and billions of people alive at anyone time, they’re among the many most vital creatures as nicely, offering a meals for a lot of different animals, and serving to to pollinate crops. Bugs are, due to this fact, vital to a permaculture plot as nicely.

Some bugs are, nonetheless, extra useful to your backyard than others, primarily as a result of they assist hold populations of “pests” – bugs that harm crops – down. Listed below are among the little critters that may assist hold your permaculture plot in steadiness.

Whereas the lacewing will get its title from the fragile inexperienced tracery of veins on the wings of the grownup, it’s the larvae of the species that’s of most profit by way of pest management. Generally known as “aphid lions” for his or her voracious urge for food for mentioned pests, the larvae additionally prey upon small caterpillars, mealy bugs and bug eggs. As quickly because the larvae hatch they seek for meals and might eat as many as 40 aphids per day, typically, in moderately macabre trend, putting the desiccated husks of their victims on their backs as camouflage. . They’ve massive jaws with which they grasp their prey, immobilizing them to allow them to suck out their juices. Attracting grownup lacewings clearly will increase the probability of larvae, they usually feed on pollen, nectar and honeydew.

Not solely are ladybugs one of the crucial aesthetically pleasing of bugs, they’re additionally one of the crucial useful in controlling pests on the permaculture website. Each the adults and the larvae feed on plant-eating bugs, significantly aphids but additionally mites and mealy bugs. Many ladybugs secrete a foul-tasting substance from their our bodies to keep at bay predators, so as soon as in your backyard, they’re more likely to keep a inhabitants if there’s ample meals.

Floor Beetles
There are roughly 2500 completely different species of floor beetle, and the entire most typical varieties eat a variety of smaller bugs, together with caterpillars, potato beetles, cutworms, snails, slugs and vine borers. Predominantly nocturnal, floor beetles favor to lie low below rocks and plant materials throughout the daylight, so be sure to have floor cowl crops if you wish to appeal to them. A couple of species of floor beetle are omnivorous and might devour weed seeds, providing one other service to the permaculture gardener.

Braconid Wasps
Grownup Braconid wasps solely eat pollen and nectar, however they actually be certain that their younger have loads of prey to feed on as quickly as they hatch – by injecting their eggs into different bugs. The feminine will lay an egg in a moth or beetle larvae, leaf miner, caterpillar, fly or an aphid, and when the wasp larvae hatches it eats its method out. Happily, the wasps’ fearsome status is reserved for different bugs; it doesn’t sting so people haven’t any cause to worry them.

Trichogramma Mini Wasps
Much like the Braconid wasp, these tiny creatures lay their eggs not inside different bugs, however of their eggs. The younger mini wasps develop inside, stopping the unique insect’s younger from growing. They have a tendency to favour the eggs of moths and butterflies, however may even lay in these of some species of worm.

Murderer Bugs
Like their human namesakes, murderer bugs stalk their prey earlier than delivering a killer blow – piercing their sufferer with an elongated mandible. Each adults and larvae feed on aphids, caterpillars, spider mites and all method of insect eggs. Watch out if dealing with murderer bugs as they’ll chunk you as nicely!

Minute Pirate Bugs
Small they might be (round two millimeters in size), however minute pirate bugs will assault insect prey many occasions their very own measurement. However whereas they are going to take the occasional caterpillar, nearly all of their weight loss plan is made up of mites, thrips and aphids. Whereas their whole life cycle lasts little greater than a month, eggs develop quickly so, given the suitable situations, populations can cycle by way of a number of generations throughout spring and summer time. Minute pirate bugs are recognized to be good pest management additions to greenhouses.

Tachinid Flies
Tachinid flies resemble the widespread housefly, however are distinguished by having a bushy stomach. The adults are pollen feeders, however the larvae feed upon grasshoppers, beetles, bugs, caterpillars and earwigs. All species of Tachinid flies are parasitical, that means their eggs develop both inside or on a bunch that the larvae predates when it hatches. Totally different species make use of numerous strategies of getting their eggs a bunch, from injecting it inside, putting it on the again, or sticking eggs to foliage that the prey animal will eat.

Soldier Beetles
An all-round predator, these beetles, which common round half and inch in size when absolutely grown, can each scuttle alongside the bottom and fly. They’re often straightforward to identify, with yellow and black or pink and black markings on their wings. Adults and larvae feed on soft-bodied pest bugs like caterpillars and aphids, whereas the adults may even feed on pollen and nectar.

Hover Flies
Aphids kind the most important a part of hover fly larvae’s weight loss plan, though they are going to prey on different soft-bodied bugs after they permaculture plotget the prospect. The adults have a tendency to put their eggs amongst aphid colonies so the rising larvae have meals instantly. The adults, which look loads like yellow jackets, are solely pollen eaters.

Spined Soldier Bugs
Preying on caterpillars, fly larvae, cabbageworms, potato beetles and grubs, spined soldier bugs are a sort of stink bug, however are distinguished by their spined “shoulders” which supplies their carapace a shield-like look. They vary in colour from brown to vibrant pink.

Preying Mantids
Preying mantids are arguably the oddest-looking bugs you would possibly discover in your permaculture plot, a minimum of for those who can spot them, they’re. Masters of camouflage, preying mantids use their physique form and coloring to mix into crops, from the place they assault every other passing insect. This does imply that they are going to take different useful bugs, however with wholesome populations, their advantages outweigh the loss of some ladybugs.

The principles of Permaculture

Published April 14, 2017 in Nature - 0 Comments

There are a lot of good benefits from permaculture. The healthy environment would be the most important one but, the most important principle of permaculture is mimicking the natural patterns of our nature that we can see all around. It is up to us to invent a design that is creative and helpful and which we can use as a base for a system that will follow the ethics of our natural habitat. It is all about nature. Without nature, there is no us. We need to learn how to preserve our soil, air and water from pollution and still get what we need. Vladislav Davidzon’s permaculture teachings will educate you on this matter in the best way and make sure that you fully understand the importance of this question as it is the most important question of today, If we do not start caring for our planet today, there will be nothing to care for tomorrow.

Permaculture is in a direct relation to our planet

The ability to mimic natural processes is the hardest thing to come by. This approach can be applied to every aspect of your existence in this world. We need to understand that we are directly related to this planet and that everything we do has an impact on our world and everything in it. Our planet is an abundant source of water, air and various materials that we need in our everyday lives but, if those are gone, our future is condemned to a disaster. That is why raising social and eco awareness about permaculture is helping us in our everyday fight for a better tomorrow. We can only build this world one step at a time so let our first step be towards a healthier planet.

The ethics of Permaculture

If we apply the principles of permaculture by adopting its ethics, we can safely say that we are one step closer to a much healthier world that will be rich in natural wealth that we can all share. Maybe it sounds like utopia but, the truth is, it is not hard to start making this world better at all. All we have to do is put our minds to it and start thinking about the consequences and repercussions of our selfish actions. All of us can become responsible producers instead of dependent consumers. Permaculture will help us to get in touch with what is important for us as individuals as well as the world around us, instead of just worrying about how to get more and more of everything that we need every day.

With permaculture knowledge Regenerative Leadership Institute will provide you with, you will change the way how you see things and how you view life itself. It will open your eyes to real values that are all around you but, you were not being able to see them because of your everyday concern about tomorrow and satisfying your needs. Learn how to respect your natural habitat.

Permaculture and Natural Equilibrium With Our Habitat

Published April 13, 2017 in Permaculture - 0 Comments

It is a well known fact that our society is not very eco aware or, in other words, not aware of its impact on the world it lives in. This is directly linked to all the pollution, global warming, starvation, food and water shortages. By spreading the educated word about the impact of permaculture on our world and environment we are helping in making this world a better and healthier place. We need to learn how to live sustainably. That means that we need to become able to give back more than we take and consume. This is based on a simple common sense. If you look better all around the world, you will see that in nature, nothing is a waste, everything can have a purpose so that means, nothing is wasted. Hence, there is no natural pollution. Permaculture will teach you how to follow that basic principle.

Permaculture Patterns By Vladislav Davidzon

To be eco aware and follow the principles of permaculture means to understand the way nature works. It takes time but, once we realize the patterns and guidelines, we will start walking hand in hand with our nature and we will be able to recognize its needs. Everything in our nature is cause and effect. Billions of years ago, our planet was basking in abundance because each species were giving back more than they were taking. The main principle of permaculture is to follow that exact same pattern and create the same abundance as it was before. We need to learn how to become a positive part, an element of nature. Recycling and reusing of all materials that were produced by our society is what permaculture stands for and this is the effort that we should all make.

Self Maintaining Permaculture Systems

Self maintaining permaculture systems are the greatest effect and the main goal of this permanent agricultural solution to our natural resources exhaustion and natural habitat pollution. These systems can help with ensuring that every element becomes able to develop multiple functions within the system. Permaculture practices common sense principles but, our main and yet to accomplish goal is to make it a common practice. We need to learn how to live off of nature without interfering with its natural processes. Disturbing the nature means to violate the rules of its eco system and that can have a very bad effect on all living things within it. Permaculture will teach you to understand those processes and the functions of nature and go with them rather than against them.

Permaculture is a Monument to the Better Tomorrow

Permaculture should remind us that we are just one small bit of this planet and that there are laws of nature that we just can not go against. Using natural resources in a smart way and applying permacultural principles can only be beneficial to us all. This beautiful planet is all we have and we need to learn how to help it.

How can permaculture be beneficial to you

Published April 3, 2017 in Permaculture - 0 Comments

It is always interesting to learn new things, especially if you can get something out of it. By educating yourself about permaculture, you are doing a favor not only to yourself but, to the world as well. Learn how to embrace the future with both hands and how to grow things without hurting the world around you. We are using fossil fuels that are directly polluting our soil, water, and air. Permaculture can help us to surpass all that and find a way to do the same while accomplishing the natural equilibrium with our habitat. We owe our planet to at least, care for it.

Permaculture will open your eyes to a new world

Paying a visit to Regenerative Leadership Institute and participating in our permaculture educational program, you will get a chance to expand your
knowledge, make new friends and most importantly, have a great time while doing it. Raising your ecological awareness is what is making you a part of this world and meeting people who are sharing the same ideas as you means fighting for something that you all believe in, a better tomorrow on a healthy planet that has so much to give us. This can be your way towards a brighter future, maybe you find yourself in this and make it your occupation, you can never know.

The importance of permaculture for our planet

Unfortunately, not many people understand the importance of permaculture when our planet comes into question. We could put it simply that permaculture is our future response to the ever growing problem of polluted air, waters, and soils. Permaculture is not just something that we can do and the problem will go away, it is a complete change of our lifestyle. It is the idea of how to make our world better without killing it, how to grow our crops without using harmful chemicals and how to move our cars and other mechanical machines without polluting our air and waters. Learning about permaculture means learning how to become a part of a world wide concept of how to make a healthy connection between us and our natural habitat. If you have any interest in nature, you will realize how permaculture is important to both us and our planet.

Permaculture is of great significance to us

Our needs are becoming greater and greater with the growth of our population. Our methods have become ecologically and socially harmful in every way. We use means that are inefficient and unsustainable. This led us directly to depleting of our soils, massive pollution and the disappearance of entire wildlife habitats. Permaculture is here to set all things right once again.

Permaculture can help our nature

Published March 3, 2017 in Nature - 0 Comments

Permaculture is all about ethics. The main point of it is that both humans and the environment are closely related. Since there is a rapid population growth for the last 30 years, there are less and less of green surfaces on this planet. That means less of arable land which eventually leads to fewer crops. If this is the case, at some point, there will not be enough food to go around and people will start starving. The main goal of permaculture is to prevent that from happening. It is the agricultural response to the exponential growth of the population on our planet.

The basic goals of permaculture

We live in the world where there is less and less of clear water, green forests and fields and breathable air. It is time to spread the word about this serious situation. The exchange between our surroundings and us needs to be dealt with. Permanent agriculture is directly related to permanent culture hence the expression permaculture. It means fusing in together our needs and the needs of our nature in a way that is beneficial to us all. More than half of people in this world do not understand how nature works at all. There are junkyards all over our planet and sea waters, polluting our land and air and water. This has to stop if we think to keep living on this planet.

The solution lies in healthy methodologies

Having a good strategy is half of job done. The entire cities can work well with our natural habitat if we just put our minds to it. That’s why we at Regenerative Leadership Institute have come up with a permaculture design course that will help us to spread our knowledge to all parts of the world. We want to send a message that our planet is in danger from ourselves and if we do not act accordingly, our very existence can be endangered. This is something that we can not allow to happen. We need to think of a long term plan that will be efficient.

Permaculture can help our world

It has been noticed that permaculture is rapidly spreading all around the world. The more people hear about it and understand it, the sooner we will all start working for the better tomorrow. Permaculture is all about cooperation between us and nature. Only by appreciating that cooperation we can undo the damage we have already done to this planet. Permaculture means turning our deserts into green fields again, growing forests that will breathe life into our natural home again. That is why it is very important to pay attention to our permaculture design course and learn.

Permaculture – Our solution for abundance

Published February 25, 2017 in Permaculture - 0 Comments

The term permaculture was invented by two Australians, Bill Mollison and David Holmgren. It is a melding of permanent culture and agriculture. It is a completely new way of growing things without harming our planet or precious ecosystems. It is the idea of creating the ultimate solution on how to get the best of our soils using the cleverly designed methods that are beneficial to both us and our planet. Today production methods are going hand in hand with environmental disregard which leads to uncontrollable consumption of habitats. This is hurting us and our entire ecosystem which will eventually lead us into a world wide crisis.

Permaculture is about sustainability and biodiversity

Developing entire permaculture systems will help all of us to build a better and eco aware world that will flourish and be rich in goods that we all can share. Permanent agriculture means thinking of a design that will be agriculturally productive to our ecosystem and allow us to maintain it in such a way that it will manage to grow and develop. These agricultural ecosystems will have the resilience, stability, and diversity of natural ones and this will be our solution to achieving natural harmony between us and our planet. This will provide us with shelter, food and energy and all other materials that we need in order to live in an ethical and sustainable way. The main goals of a sustainable society are a healthy environment, personal fulfillment, social harmony and economic security. This is what will provide both us and our planet with a vital existence that is leaned towards our mutual well being.

Permaculture – A controlable consumption of natural resources

When we take something from our planet, we need to give something back. We are used to getting all the materials that we need in order to prosper. We cut our woods and forests, use our waters and air but, we do not think at all about the consequences of all that. Permaculture means controlling what we take and giving something back. Nothing was wrong with this planet until we showed up. The majority of living creatures on this planet always give back more than they consume and that is why this planet has been able to sustain itself for billions of years. It is our time to do the same and our answer to the question how to do that is permaculture. Voracious consumption needs to stop right away.

Permaculture means understanding our surroundings

In this fast paced world, we stopped looking at life as something beautiful and full of wonders but rather as something that we have to endure. We are so consumed by this everlasting struggle for tomorrow that we completely forgot that all we need is right there, in front of our eyes. We just need to figure out how to take from the world without hurting it and that is the main goal of permaculture. We encourage the strengthening of our connections with nature.

Permaculture means a completely new approach in a direct relation to agricultural goods production that is in equilibrium with our ecological system and its natural cycle.  It is our answer to the sustainable agricultural productivity that is constantly provisioned, supervised and maintained. Making all things natural benefits us as well as our planet and it is directly related to our future. Permaculture is the philosophy or teaming up with nature rather than working against it. It is the ability to understand all living things on our planet in all their functions. People need to learn to care for this Earth before they start polluting it and permaculture is the next step in achieving that goal.

The values of permaculture

Since the number of situations, in which we more destroy than help our nature, is increasing, we need to come up with a solution that will decrease those numbers. Earth care means that all people should put their minds to it and come up with a plan or a method that will stop harming this world and yet continue providing us with all our necessities. We are nothing more but just a part of this great planet so, that means that we need to start acting like that. As soon as we start respecting nature around us, the sooner we can start working on a better tomorrow.

The first step towards that is making people care about their environment. That means that we all need to work together in order to prosper and keep our planet and natural habitat healthy. The second step would be putting some limitations to our consumption. Uncontrollable consumption and pollution are the two main reasons why our entire ecosystem is in danger and why we have extinct and endangered species. Natural resources should be shared with a great care because of a simple reason. If we spend all of our resources, there will be nothing left for us or our future generations and this is not an encouraging thought at all.

Permaculture could be the dawn of a new age

We already learned that permaculture could be beneficial to us as well to our Mother Earth. We can save money and natural resources, turn our waste into organic materials and manure, make less waste, therefore, stop polluting our air, soil and water, stop using pesticides to natural fertilizers because they are much healthier for us and our animals. One of the really great benefits from permaculture is zoning. This means knowing which produce ripens first. This allows better usage of crops and cutting down the food waste that hyperproduction is dealing with all the time.

Permaculture and Green Living

Green living means using all natural resources for fertilizing your soil and, watering. This results in healthier fruits and vegetables as well as animals and humans, who consume them. The concept of green living implicates that you do not need any artificial material to grow anything from the soil. Permaculture is caring about this world.
